(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for a regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 25, and have provided the following recap of the meeting.
1. A 24-hour Manufacturer’s Off-Premise Permit from Pushroot Brewing Co. for the Meadowlark Harvest Dinner at the Alpine Science Institute on September 19, 2026, was approved.
2. Approach Access Application 2025-033A for Lot 107 Soda Springs Drive, from Kevin Pugel, was approved.
3. Lane Subdivision, Lot 6 Re-subdivision in Section 13, Township 33N, Range 100W just off Spriggs Dr was approved.
4. A temporary part-time position for an Assessment Nurse, in the Public Health Department was approved.
5. A grant agreement with the Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division for the Fremont County Prevention Program in the amount of $450,783.00 through June 30, 2028, was approved.
6. It was approved to increase the Legal Secretary re-hire request in the Attorney’s office to not exceed $48,190 annually.
7. A Memorandum of Understanding between the Youth Services Day Reporting Center and Fremont County School District #25 for the 2026-2027 school year, was approved.
8. A bid from PolyPRO LLC in the amount of $242,915.80 was accepted for the Blue Hill Lateral Piping Project.
9. It was approved to sign a letter of intent for Fremont County to be the pass through for a CDBG grant for Riverton Mercy House.
