(Lander, WY) – Fremont County Sheriff Ryan Lee gave his monthly report to the Fremont County Commission on Tuesday.
As of this week, he said there are 152 inmates at the Fremont County Detention Center, including 110 men, 41 women, and one juvenile.
Twenty-eight of those inmates were booked in over the past weekend, Lee noted.
Forty of the inmates have already been sentenced, including 33 men and seven women, Lee said, while 113 inmates remain pre-adjudicated.
More than half of those pre-adjudicated inmates came out of Riverton Circuit Court, Lee also shared, and 43 percent originated out of the District Court on felony charges, while 5 percent came out of Lander Circuit Court and 1 percent came out of Riverton Municipal Court.
Over the last 55 days, Lee reported that 484 bookings have been made at the detention center, including 214 arrests from the Riverton Police Department, 176 from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, 64 from the Lander Police Department, 18 from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, six from the Shoshoni Police Department, four federal holds from the U.S. Marshals Service, and two arrests from the Dubois Police Department.
The FCSO has taken more than 2,250 calls for service so far this year, Lee added, and Search and Rescue crews have conducted 21 missions throughout the fiscal year, compared to 25 missions the year before.
