An informational meeting will be held at Fort Washakie’s Rocky Mountain Hall Friday, February 22nd starting at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting is to provide, “historical context for the buffalo restoration efforts.”
Since 2016, small groups of bison have periodically been released onto the Wind River Indian Reservation. The second major release was captured on video in 2017 by County 10, you can see that here.
