(Fort Washakie, Wyo.) – The Shoshone Business Council has proclaimed the month of October as Domestic Awareness Month on the Wind River Reservation.
According to a statement posted on line, the SBC urges citizens to be part of restoring the traditional systems of community support by supporting victims of violence and to actively support this year’s Domestic Awareness Month theme: “Ending Violence in One Generation.”
