Each week, staff at Shoshoni High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Brenna Metzler was nominated as the Shoshoni High School student of the week by Taylor Dick.

My plans after high school are to attend a college outside of Wyoming and play college softball, while earning a bachelor’s degree in either early Childhood Education or Elementary Education. Then I want to come back here and become a preschool teacher.
My favorite teacher was my Freshman year history teacher. He is my favorite because he pushed me to be the absolute best I can be. He taught me that I will fail in life, and that is alright, that I can’t be perfect at everything.
My role model is my mom because she expects the best from me. She knows what I can accomplish, and pushes me to accomplish those things. She always supports me in whatever I am doing. When I am struggling with anything she helps me to get through it. She is my biggest fan. I have learned how to be a good person from her, and how to become the best version of myself so I can help others be their best too.
Nomination from Mr. Dick: Brenna is a very hard worker in the weight room. She has gotten significantly stronger this year and is a great leader. She is always telling all the other girls to work harder and be better.
