Each week, staff at Shoshoni High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Callie Miller was nominated as the Shoshoni High School student of the week by Donna Post.
School Activities/Clubs: FFA, FBLA, NHS
My role model is my Aunt Bridget, I have learned so much from her she is an extremely kind, and amazing person and has always been a positive influence in my life.
I would tell younger students that they shouldn’t allow other people to change what they want to do with their lives, it’s not worth it to allow negative people to affect the way that you present yourself.
Mr. Christensen is my favorite teacher. He always finds a way to make the class enjoyable.
(Nurse Post) Callie has shown exceptional growth overall since the beginning of the school year! I have had the pleasure of watching Callie grow in my CNA class this year. She has gained confidence and leadership as she has completed this class, including obtaining her state CNA certification in December, following performing very well in the classroom, skills lab, and clinical areas. She has shown great dedication to studying her CNA knowledge and skills outside of the classroom setting as well. I am very proud of all Callie has accomplished and I look forward to watching her continue to pursue her nursing degree!
(Christensen) Callie consistently comes to class with a positive attitude, actively participates, and confidently advocates for herself. She completes her assignments on time and ensures they are done correctly on the first attempt. Additionally, she willingly volunteers for extra responsibilities both during and after class.
