Each week, staff at Shoshoni High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Damion Knigge was nominated as the Shoshoni High School student of the week by Shaundi Gopp.
The advice that I would give to younger students would be if you want a difference in the world, be the person who can make that difference or else who would. Believe in yourself and your goals.
My plans after high school are either to go to the military or to go into real estate. I haven’t fully made up my mind.
The thing that makes Shoshoni schools so special is that the school is always changing to try and give the students the best learning experience possible and giving new opportunities to the kids.
Nomination from Shaundi Gopp: Damion is one of those students who makes his presence known in a room, not in a bad way, but in a way that is endearing. He has an infectious energy. Damion is also a hard worker, he thinks outside the box and always has insight into discussions that I would never think of.
