Each week, staff at Shoshoni High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.

My advice for younger students would be to be your own person and do what makes you happy. Focus on your goals and strive to be a good person. When high school is over, it’s you against the world, and all the high school drama won’t matter.
My favorite activity is FFA. FFA has been one of my favorite things so far! It has given me many opportunities, not only for my future but also for me to gain confidence and grow as a person. In FFA, I compete in Meat Judging, Vet Science, and Agriscience.
My mom is the person I look up to the most; she inspires me with her strength, kindness, hard work ethic, and dedication. She has taught me many valuable lessons in life and motivates me to be a good person. She has always been there for me and is the person I strive to become one day. I love you, Mom!
I love that our school is so small in numbers. They offer a lot of opportunities for everyone, and the teachers are closely connected with their students. It’s a Wrangler Family!
Nomination from Mr. Strasbaugh: Harlow always has a great attitude and puts forth her best effort in class. She stays on task and is able to get her work done quickly and correctly. She always shows respect to her teachers and fellow students. She has a growth mindset. She has been great to have in class!
