Each week, staff at Shoshoni High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Kaitlyn Livingston was nominated as the Shoshoni High School student of the week by Rachel Rapp.
School Activities/Sports/Clubs: FFA
My advice for younger students would be that you shouldn’t just give up on hard things. Also, don’t do things just to please other kids. You should do what makes you happy.
After high school, I want to further my education and go into early childhood education, mainly to become a kindergarten teacher. I have been student teaching in kindergarten all year, and I have found happiness in helping them learn, further their knowledge, and build new skills.
My role models, Mrs. Sullivan and Mrs. McFarland, have helped me figure out what I want to do after high school, and have helped me drown out the drama of high school. They also have pushed me to not give up on difficult assessments or tasks that come at hand. They know I am capable of doing things and push me because they have high expectations.
Nominations from Ms. Rapp: Kaitlyn is a hard working student that comes in every day ready to get to work and do her best. She does a great job at asking questions, working with peers, and has been a wonderful addition to my classroom!
