Shoshoni Junior High Student of the Week: Rhiannon Neale

Rhiannon Neale was nominated as the Shoshoni Junior High student of the week by Jill Richardson.

Rhiannon Neale is an outstanding student. She demonstrates kindness and graciousness towards all students and is a quiet leader who leads by example. Rhiannon works diligently in class and can complete all her work, setting a great example for others in the class. Two qualities that stand out about Rhiannon are her talent for drawing and singing. She is quite accomplished in both. Additionally, I appreciate that Rhiannon arrives at class every day with a smile, which brightens my day. (Ms. Richardson)

The sport that I like to do is volleyball. Volleyball is fun because you get to hang out with the team, make new friends, and encourage everybody else too!

Awards or Honors: I won the Stars of Tomorrow talent competition twice in my age bracket. I have performed in three CWC theatre productions. I performed in Peter Pan, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and I was Marta Von Trapp in Sound of Music. Most recently, our choir was selected to perform part of song with Foreigner at their concert in Casper. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget!

My favorite school subject is choir. I love choir because I get to sing and learn new skills and songs. This helps me a lot when I perform. Plus, my dad is the choir teacher, and I’m so glad that Shoshoni started a choir this year. I have been looking forward to being in my dad’s choir for a long time. I also like science because Mr. Nelson is a fun teacher and I learn a lot in his class.
