(Shoshoni, WY) – The Fremont County School District 24 (Shoshoni) Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, in the boardroom at 404 Wrangler Way in Shoshoni.
The agenda includes student, staff and community recognitions and a report from Sarah Jarvis on the NASA weather balloon launch.
Drew Peregoy will also report on the Wyoming State Thespian Festival.
The superintendent’s report includes coaching resignations, a review of district values, enrollment numbers, and upcoming events.
The board will also hear reports from the elementary and secondary principals, the special education director, and the business manager.
Action items on the agenda include:
- approve the superintendent to sign on behalf of the district for the Petersdorf Fund Scholarship
- approve the use of existing signature cards until new signature cards can be obtained if needed following board reorganization
Personnel items on the agenda include:
- approve hiring Misti Ingalls as the HR/Payroll Clerk and Board Secretary
- approve and ratify advertising for the high school wrestling assistant position
- approve the resignation of Rebecca Borders as special education paraprofessional and authorize administration to advertise the job
After a policy review, the board will conduct its annual reorganization, approve meeting dates and times, consider committee appointments for 2026, and approve annual designations for 2026.
