Former Sheriff Skip Hornecker introduced the new Fremont County Sheriff, Ryan Lee, to an over-capacity crowd in the County Commissioners Chambers Monday morning.
Lee also took his oath of office along with 9 other elected officials Monday.
Hornecker announced he would not seek another term as Sheriff in March 2018. He had served in the position for over 16 years. Lee won the 2018 General Election, he had been the Fremont County Undersheriff.
Monday morning after the oath of offices, Hornecker presented Lee with his Sheriff’s badge. In return, Lee presented Hornecker with a retired Sheriff’s badge.
