If you’re strolling around downtown Lander in the next few hours it’s a tale of two different sidewalks.
As is pretty typical for snow-melt, the south side of Main Street remains well covered by shadows. There’s still snow on the ground, covering benches, and icicles hanging from building awnings. (Actually, be careful of those things, they can be pretty dangerous.)
The northern-most side of Main Street meanwhile presented ideal sun-bathing conditions Thursday afternoon. There is a little slush still about, but the southerners were still pretty envious.
Despite the slick conditions, many were out on both sides taking advantage of local shopping, restaurants, or just out for an afternoon stroll.
More snow flurries are possible for Lander this evening, and tomorrow will have a small moisture chance with temperatures struggling to reach 40. Saturday and Sunday expect some sunshine and temps in the 50’s, though!
