The Wyoming state flag is glowing with the sun slowly rising over the mountains on the horizon.
The state flag was adopted in 1917, featuring Wyoming’s state animal, the bison. The red on the border of the flag symbolizes the Native Americans and the blood of pioneers who gave their lives. The white is a symbol of purity and uprightness, and the color blue is for the color of Wyoming’s skies.
Sunrises in Wyoming this week will take place just before 7:00 a.m. and sunsets shortly after 7:15 p.m.
