Shortly after 3:00 p.m. Riverton fire crews were called to a small grass fire just off of 17-Mile Road, about 1 mile west of St. Stephens Indian High School.
The fire was difficult to fight because of gusty wind conditions, however, crews did manage to get it extinguished just before 4:00 p.m. Monday.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
