Most of Fremont County is waking up to some white scenery Wednesday morning after snows showers hit Riverton, Lander, and Wind River Indian Reservation. Meanwhile, it’s been snowing the majority of the week in the Dubois/Crowheart area.
The storm created slick road conditions across the state, forcing an I-80 closure between Cheyenne and Rock Springs for the majority of Tuesday. South Pass was closed late Tuesday but reopened before 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Intermittent snow is expected to continue throughout the day across Fremont County, but temperatures will warm back up into the 50’s for most areas tomorrow. Dubois will warm to the mid-40’s tomorrow, but another shot of snow is likely.
