Below freezing temperatures on a January weekend would be enough to keep a lot of folks indoors.
Not the kids of Fremont County as it turns out.
Riverton’s Skate Park, located at CIty Park, was buzzing with activity over the weekend. Skate Park enthusiast Matt Wright helped shovel the entire park to remove snow recently and said that despite it being about 10 degrees to start the day Saturday, he counted 23 kids at one point using the facility.
Skateboarders, scooter tricksters, BMX’rs, and other outdoor fun-seekers use the park regularly.
