Lander Police Department K-9 Officer Jeff Leafgreen and his four-legged partner Kye held a demonstration for the Lander Learning Express Pre-School Thursday.
Students learned the importance of police dogs and their role with the team. Students had the chance to pet Kye after the demonstration.
Kye is a 9 1/2-year-old Belgian Malinois and has been with Officer Leafgreen for 8 years with LPD.
