The Lander Volunteer Fire Department has been kept relatively busy over the last few months.
And, during the downtime for these volunteers, much of it is spent training, learning, and preparing for many different circumstances that they could face.
A firefighters job extends far beyond actually fighting fires. LVFD regularly responds to calls like gas leaks, fuel spills, carbon monoxide, and downed powerlines. Additionally, the respond to alarms, fire drills, and smoke investigations.
