The Wyoming Outdoor Council, the state’s oldest independent conservation group, has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Patagonia and Lander’s own Wild Iris Mountain Sports to help bring citizens together to protect Wyoming’s world-class mule deer migration corridors.
Wild Iris will hosted a celebration during its First Friday event this week. The Wyoming Outdoor Council’s conservation advocate Kristen Gunther was on hand to talk about the Outdoor Council’s ongoing efforts to protect vital mule deer habitats in Wyoming from increasing threats.
