According to our friends at the National Weather Service office in Riverton, there’s a pretty good chance we’re not getting out of March without seeing more snow.
Light snow is expected to begin falling in western Wyoming, including Dubois and Togwotee Pass tonight. Lower elevations have a better chance of seeing a snow/rain mixture Saturday night and throughout Sunday.
Lower elevations will see less than an inch of accumulation, while higher elevations may see between 2-4 inches of accumulation.
Temperatures will remain “spring-like” with high’s topping out in the 50’s through the weekend. Early next week, many Fremont County residents may experience 60+ degree afternoons.
