Evelyn Piquette was nominated as the St. Margaret’s School student of the week by Mr. David Stradley.
Evelyn Piquette, first-grader at St. Margaret’s School, demonstrated incredible kindness when she noticed a preschooler struggling to leave her dad at morning drop-off. Without hesitation, Evie gently took the little girl’s hand and led her to the teacher. Mr. Stradley praised Evie’s independent compassion. “I admire the fact that Evie acted on her own. Acts of kindness are not unusual here at St. Margaret’s, but Evie’s caring stands out and sets a great example.” She is a leader in her classroom and faith as well. Evie embodies the cherished school values of kindness, honesty, and effort.
