Students from St. Margaret’s Catholic School in Riverton gathered Tuesday morning at Veteran’s Park to pray and sing for peace on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Staff led students in prayer before a few of the students spoke up about things they wanted to pray for. The victims of 9/11, first responders, those who are ill, family members, and pets were all addressed by the children.
Prayer was followed by a rendition of ‘Peace Is Flowing Like A River.’
