(Wyoming) – A new online study has tallied some interesting data on which of the country’s residents are spending the most and least on clothing.
Wallet Hub has analyzed the average price of a men’s dress shirt, a pair of boys’ jeans and a pair of women’s slacks across all 50 states. They summed up the individual costs of the components and adjusted the resulting figure to the median monthly income in each state, then used those results to rank the order of their study.
Based on that methodology, Wyoming ranks as the 17th most expensive state to purchase clothing.
