(Riverton, WY) – Hi, my name is Ayana Mejorado. I am a senior at Riverton High School, and I wanted to express my support for Becca Pierson, who is running for Riverton City Council Ward 2.
We as a community have a great opportunity to put into office someone with an intricate understanding of government and the perfect position to represent the people and the future of their children.
Rebecca has been my coach, mentor, and teacher throughout my four years of high school. Mrs. Pierson is a problem solver with a knowledge base and deep understanding of policy, made to solve community issues.
As my policy debate and congressional debate coach, I know that Rebecca has a thorough understanding of both local and national governments. The highest level of mastery is the ability to teach others, and she does that every day as a coach as well as a government teacher.
When we, as Riverton, Wyoming, vote as a community for someone who represents our best interests for the future, I believe we need to vote for Rebecca Pierson.
