Over 100 years ago, what is now called “The Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC)” began receiving clients. The residents admitted were mostly people with disabilities. Over the years, this facility has helped many people in our state. It also provided a very reliable and stable economic base for our County.
Roughly from 2010 until 2018, many people in our area were unaware that the WLRC came very close to closing. A powerful group wanted it to be moved elsewhere. They were defeated in that attempt by the skill, hard work, and superb leadership of Senator Cale Case and Representative Lloyd Larsen. As a consequence, WLRC was not only saved for us, but brought to a new world-class level. It now operates with new buildings and expanded programs that better serve the needs of our most vulnerable citizens.
Rep. Lloyd Larsen and Sen. Cale Case have been major players in making all this happen. They are proven advocates for “Good” for ALL the people they represent. Fremont County absolutely needs them to continue to represent us in the State Legislature.
