With 3 locations in Fremont County at risk, Family Dollar‘s announced that they would be closing 390 locations nationwide this year is troubling.
Dollar Tree purchased Family Dollar in 2015 and has admitted that the chain has underperformed.
The effect that this will have locally has not been announced, as 390 locations will be closed, others will be converted to Dollar Tree stores, and yet others will be stacked with $1 Dollar Tree merchandise and liquor sections (unlikely in Fremont County).
