Today is the Grand Opening of the Fremont County Fair Annex, the brand-new addition to the Fremont County Fairgrounds (875 Gasser Road, Riverton.) The old CWC Equine facility now offers expanded opportunities to enjoy and enhance Fremont County’s fair experience. Lunch is from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and tours of the facility will run until 6 p.m.
And of course this Sunday is Groundhog Day. Lander’s own Lander Lil was named one of the top forecasters in the country by NOAA this year! Lil was the only prairie dog able to compete with the more famous groundhogs like Punxsutawney Phil in terms of accuracy, so way to go Lil!
