The Native Currents Art Exhibition is an exhibit amplifying Indigenous voices and challenging dominant narratives by showcasing contemporary Native artists both locally and across the United States. It opens today and runs until August 18 at the CWC Robert A. Peck Arts Center (2660 Peck Avenue, Riverton).

🌱 National Bighorn Sheep Center Plants with John Mionczynski – An in person lecture about native plants in the Badlands will be held at 7 p.m. at the Dennison Lodge (909 W Ramshorn, Dubois), with a hike to the Badlands starting at 9 a.m. at the Sheep Center (10 Bighorn Lane, Dubois).
📚 Lander Library Book Nook – The Book Nook is in the lower level of the Carnegie building (451 N Second St) and has a good selection of used books in all subject areas, DVDs, audio books, music CDs, and, often, games and puzzles available from Noon until 4 p.m.
🆓 FREE EVENT: Free Play Friday – The Lander Library (451 N Second St, Lander) hosts play time for moms and their little ones in the Discovery Room, starting at 10:30 a.m.

🥾 Lander Main Street Trek – The Pioneer Museum’s Director, Randy Wise, will lead an adventure trek down Lander’s Main Street starting at 10 a.m. Cost: $10
