Lander Art Center’s Summerfest is back this weekend! Head to Lander City Park (405 Fremont St., Lander) for a day filled with art, music, food and community! This year’s celebration has a vibrant vendor’s market as well as hands-on art activities for all ages.
This Saturday’s “Jam Time” is even moving to the park, so at 10 a.m. bring a musical instrument if you’d like to jam in the morning sun. For the full schedule, click here.

🧗♀️ 307 Summer Climbing – Learn from the experience and expertise of Stacy Wells at the CWC Student Center Climbing Wall. For ages eight to 14 years old. Session 1 is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Session 2 is from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
💽 Riverton Library Book Sale – From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., stop by the Riverton Branch Library (1330 W Park Ave., Riverton) for a sale in the Mezzanine of used books, dvds, and records.
🍴 Lander Lunch & Learn – This event is free and open to the public for developing business skills and opportunities. Noon – 1 p.m. at CWC (120 Enterprise Blvd., Lander).
📚 Lander Library Book Nook – The Book Nook is in the lower level of the Carnegie building (451 N Second St) and has a good selection of used books in all subject areas, DVDs, audio books, music CDs, and, often, games and puzzles available from Noon until 4 p.m.
💃🏻 Swingin’ Fridays with WyoJazz – Enjoy Swing Era dancing at the Lander Senior Center (205 S. 10th St., Lander) starting at 7 p.m. Free to all ages!
🎭 Seven Brides for Seven Brothers – Catch the magic on stage at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theater (2660 Peck Ave., Riverton) at 7 p.m. starting June 19! Cost: $12
🤠 Dubois Friday Night Rodeo – Every Friday night in Dubois at the Clarence Allison Memorial Arena (5639 US-26, Dubois) starting at 7:30 p.m. Cost: $20
🎸 Live Music with Sammy Steele – The Rustic Pine Tavern (123 E. Ramshorn, Dubois) continues Summer Music Fest with country artist Sammy Steele at 9:00 p.m.
🆓 FREE EVENT: Free Play Friday – The Lander Library (451 N Second St, Lander) hosts play time for moms and their little ones in the Discovery Room, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday:
🥎 Wind River Round Robin – The Lander Lady Legends host an invitational softball tournament at Tom St. John Softball Complex (686 Baldwin Creek Dr., Lander) starting at 8 a.m.
🐎 Laurie Gardner Memorial Sorting – Signups start at 9 a.m. with sorting starting at 10 a.m. at the Fremont County Fairgrounds (1010 Fairground Road, Riverton). The events continue through Sunday, so check out their full schedule by clicking here.
🐑 Shoshone Peoples and Their Traditional Foods – The Dubois Museum (909 W Ramshorn, Dubois) is excited to have Michial Garvin talk about the natural resources of the Wind River country and their traditional uses by the Shoshone peoples, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
🥾 Rocky Ridge & Oregon Trail Adventure Trek – Join the Pioneer Museum (1443 W. Main St., Lander) and Craig Bromley for a tour of the Rocky Ridge and Oregon Trail historical places starting at 10 a.m. Cost: $15
☮️ Print Making 4 Palestine – Starting at 11 a.m. at the Gazebo in City Park (405 Fremont St, Lander) there will be block printing (either paper/fabric) and donations raised for Gaza.
🎯 Archery & Hamburgers – Mountain Grace Baptist Church (27 Gilliland Ave., Dubois) starts the games at 2 p.m., with activities and games for kids all throughout the adult shoot.
🆓 FREE EVENT: Let’s Rock Riverton! The rock festival starts at 10 a.m. in the Riverton Downtown city parking lot (399 E. Fremont Ave., Riverton) with a 5k run/walk and much more!
