If you haven’t headed to Dubois for the Friday Night Rodeo, today’s the last time until next summer. Events start at 7:30 p.m., tickets are $15, or $10 for kids aged 5 – 12 (cash only at the gate.)

The Light of the West photo exhibition started this week at the CWC Robert A. Peck Arts Center (2660 Peck Avenue, Riverton). The gallery of unique, nature-inspired photos of Wyoming is a nationally touring display that is on exhibit starting at 8 a.m. on Fridays and 10 a.m. on Saturdays.

Riverton High School Howdy Hangout – Come hang out at the RHS back parking lot to celebrate Back to School with live music, games, and raffles. $5 admission, starts at 8 p.m.
🆓 FREE EVENT: The Veterans Coffeehouse – Every weekday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Lander Community Veterans Resource Center (190 Custer Street, Lander). Enjoy a free cup of coffee and spend some time with a veteran.
Saturday:
Wings n’ Wheels – From 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Lander’s Hunt Field Airport (1360 Rodeo Drive, Lander) come see warbirds, classic cars and fun for the kids. FREE admission!
🐮 Rendezvous City Beef Round-up – Gates open at 10 a.m. at Central Wyoming College (2660 Peck Avenue, Riverton) for this year’s talks, tastings, and ticketed events, including the prestigious VIP “Best Beef In Wyoming” dinner.
Jam Time – The Lander Art Center (258 Main St., Lander) is hosting an open jam from 10 a.m. until Noon. All instruments, ages, and skill levels welcome.
🪘 Healing and Rhythm Inclusive Drum Circle Series – Everyone is welcome and the event is completely accessible for people with any type of ability. Starts at Lander City Park at 10 a.m.
Archaeology of the Greater South Pass – Meet at the South Pass City Dance Hall at 11 a.m. to explore the earliest history of the Greater South Pass with retired BLM Archaeologist Craig Bromley.
📖 Friends of Riverton Library Book Sale – The sale of gently used books, CDs, DVDs, record albums and puzzles benefits the Riverton library from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Get Lost Fundraiser Banquet – This is Riverton Search & Rescue’s only annual fundraiser, and it raises money to help pay for training, supplies, and equipment maintenance. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. in the Fremont Center (1010 Fairground Rd, Riverton). Tickets are $40.
🦬 3rd Annual Wild Game Cook-Off – The Wyoming Wildlife Foundation will be at the Lion’s Shelter at Lander City Park starting at 5 p.m. for a family friendly event full of great food, great company, great stories, exciting raffle prizes, and more!
Riverton Haunted History – The first of Alma Law’s fall history tours start at 7 p.m. at the parking lot on East Main and 5th. Tickets are $15 per person.
🆓 FREE EVENT: Coalter Block Summer Music – Enjoy Lost Springs Band at the Coalter Loft in the the Lander Bar and Gannett Grill from 8 to 11 p.m. It’s the last concert of the season!
Sunday:
🛝 Playground Grand Opening – Picnic and grand opening of the Free Church (1215 Hwy 287, Lander) Pavilion and Playground. Starts at Noon, open to all!
Crooked Creek Trivia Night – Starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Crooked Creek Guest Ranch (76 Fir Road, Dubois), teams of up to six welcome.
