🔔 Challenge for Red Kettle Bell Ringers -The Riverton Help Center is looking for bell ringers for the annual Red Kettle Campaign which kicks off this Friday, November 22nd and runs through Saturday December 21st. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Carol at 463-0799.
☕ The Veterans Coffeehouse – Every weekday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Lander Community Veterans Resource Center (190 Custer Street, Lander), enjoy a free cup of coffee and spend some time with a veteran.
🎄 Christmas Ornament Contest – Stop by Bar Ten (114 S. Broadway Ave., Riverton) after 4 p.m. and decorate an ornament to receive a free beer or discount on a cocktail. Voting starts December 21st on the best ornament!
🆓 FREE EVENT: Free Play Friday – The Lander Library (451 N Second St, Lander) hosts play time for moms and their little ones in the Discovery Room, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday:
🎅 Santa at Crew at Sutherlands – Meet with Santa and his elves from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sutherlands in Riverton (1960 N. Federal Blvd.)
🚂 The Polar Express Experience – Ride the Polar Express at Central Wyoming Children’s Center for Art, Technology, & Science (120 S. 3rd St., Riverton) at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., or 6 p.m. Tickets: $5.
☕ Cocoa with Santa – Santa Claus will be visiting Advance America (900 Webbwood Rd. Ste B, Riverton) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Stop by and have a cookie and some hot cocoa.
✈️ Santa at the Airport – Drop in on the Rise and Shine Airport Cafe (4800 Airport Rd., Riverton) for sleigh rides and other family activities, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Santa stopping in at 3 p.m.
🦌 Santa at the Elks Lodge – The Riverton Elks Lodge BPOE 1693 (207 E. Main St., Riverton) has a hot cocoa bar and treats for those that want to meet up with Santa from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
🐘 White Elephant Party – Maverick Lounge (808 Main St., Lander) is hosting a gift exchange starting at 4 p.m. There is a $15 limit on the cost of a gift, and numbers will be drawn for the exchange.
❄️ Winter Solstice Party – Join the South Pass Jass Band and wear an ugly sweater for Bar Ten’s (114 S. Broadway Ave., Riverton) holiday party starting at 4 p.m.
Community Gift Exchange – Starts at 7:30 p.m. Gift costs limited to $15 or less. No alcohol, please.
🎄 Christmas on Main Street – Santa will be spreading joy and holiday cheer at Jerry’s Flowers and Things (409 E Main St., Riverton) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will also bee free wagon rides along Main Street.
👻 Spirits of Christmas Past – Alma Law will be at the Riverton Museum (700 E Park Ave., Riverton) telling Christmas ghost stories from 6:00 p.m. – 8 p.m. Cost: $15
🕯️ Blue Christmas Service – On the longest night of the year, Lander United Methodist Church (262 N. 3rd St., Lander) has a reflective service planned to support those who are grieving through the holidays. Service starts at 6 p.m.
👕 Ugly Christmas Sweater on Canvas – Art & Soul Studio (822 Forest Dr., Riverton) presents a multi-media experience starting at 7 p.m. Cost: $22
🧘🏻 Darkk Yoga – Motion Bliss (316 E. Main St., Riverton) hosts a special Winter Solstice yoga session from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Cost: $15
🆓 FREE EVENT: Jam Time – Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Lander Art Center (258 Main St., Lander) welcomes people of all ages and skill sets to jam together.
