Monday is Veterans Day, when we gather to honor and celebrate the service, sacrifice, and dedication of the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. While there’s plenty activities to do starting today, please remember to express your gratitude for our local veterans this weekend!
A good way to start is to check out the daily coffee bar to meet veterans at the Lander Community Veterans Resource Center (190 Custer Street, Lander). It’s every Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

🛝 Free Play Friday – The Lander Library (451 N Second St, Lander) hosts play time for moms and their little ones in the Discovery Room, starting at 10:30 a.m.
🌀 Fill the Semi for North Carolina Hurricane Victims – The Riverton National Honor Society, Student Council and FFA have organized a Fill the Semi Drive to send supplies to North Carolina hurricane victims. Starts at 4 p.m. at the Riverton High School Front Parking Lot

🥳 Alchemy Artists Cooperative Ninth Anniversary Celebration – Join the Alchemy Artists Cooperative (202 Main Street, Lander) at 4 p.m. to celebrate their anniversary at their open house. Snacks, beverages, and raffles.
🧶 45th Annual Lander Community Craft Fair – Stop by the Lander Community Center (950 Buena Vista Dr, Lander) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to shop for unique handmade items.

🛼 Red Canyon Rattleskaters Harvest Havoc – Fremont County Roller Derby hosts their last roller derby bout of the season. First whistle is at 5 p.m. at the Riverton Fairgrounds (1010 Fairgrounds Dr., Riverton.) Cost: $10
🎨 Paint & Create – The Riverton Elks Lodge (207 E Main, Riverton) hosts a “winter prism” painting session from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cost: $35
