In a treasure hunt straight out a movie, the owner of Jelly Belly David Klein is giving away a candy factory. Sort of.
Klein announced this week that there are “golden tickets” in the form of a gold necklace hidden in each of the 50 states. Clues for the necklaces can be purchased for $50, and only 1,000 clues will be given out. If you find the necklace, you win $5,000.
The winners from every state will get to compete in another, yet to be announced, “ultimate treasure hunt.” The winner of the ultimate hunt wins a Jelly Belly factory.
Klein elaborated that you don’t get to do exactly whatever you want with the factory, but you will be the owner of it. And, probably get all the Jelly Belly’s you want for life.
