The Fremont County Fair kicks off this Saturday with a parade down Main Street Riverton! The 111th Fremont County Fair has plenty to do for the next week, so check out their events calendar for daily programming.
Friday:
💃 Friday Night Dance at the Riverton Senior Center – Come see the Jess Corbett Band and break in your dancing shoes! Music starts at 7 p.m.
Dubois Friday Night Rodeo – Starts at 7:30 p.m., tickets are $15 for adults (cash only at the gate.) Stick around after tonight’s rodeo for the Outside Circle Show at the Rustic Pine Tavern. It’s the start of National Day of the Cowboy!
🆓 FREE EVENT: Coalter Block Summer Music at the Lander Bar and Gannett Grill. This weekend’s special guest is the Aaron Ball Band, and tonight the music starts at 7 p.m.
Saturday:
🪕 Jam Time – The Lander Art Center (258 Main St., Lander) is hosting an open jam from 10 a.m. until Noon. All instruments, ages, and skill levels welcome.
Friends of Riverton Library Book Sale – If you’re shopping for gently used books, DVDs, audio books, vinyl records and albums head over to the Riverton Library (1330 West Park Ave., Riverton) at 11 a.m. and support your local library!
🍺 Wild West Brewfest – Celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy in Dubois with the Rustic Pine Tavern and the Dubois Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $30, events start at Noon.
Senior & Community Fun Day Barbecue – A day of games and fun at the Riverton Senior Center. Games start at 11 a.m. Food is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
🆓 FREE EVENT: Soap Box Car Derby – They’re racing down the Main Street hill after the Fremont County Fair Parade, starting at 1 p.m.
Sunday:
🤠 National Day of the Cowboy – Celebrate at the Cowboy Church in Dubois. Biscuits and gravy will be served at 8 a.m., with service at 9 a.m.
