(Lander, WY) – Lander and Fort Washakie wrestlers representing the Tiger Tough team did very well earlier this month at the Wyoming Amateur Wrestling Association State Tournament in Casper.
Overall, the team captured first place in “small team boys freestyle” and they were second overall in “small team boys folkstyle.
Parker Mowrey won an individual championship in both folkstyle and freestyle. She finished third in the greco division.
Bia Gwinna Waipe Hill was runner-up individually in the folkstyle division.
Ainga Hill, Ryder Connell, Trent Oakley, Eva McAdams and Willow Hill all represented the team with third place finishes.
