The Lander boys golf team won the Class 3-A West Tournament in convincing fashion by 44 strokes over second-place Powell. The Tigers placed seven golfers in the top 10 paced by Isaiah Webb who shot 153 over the two-day event to take second place.
Webb shot an 81 on Thursday but came back nine strokes better on Friday with a round of 72 to earn the runner-up position.
Teammates Tayten Jacks and Brenner Colman tied for third with scores of 156. William Oland was just a stroke behind in sixth place at 157.
Peyton Young was seventh with a 164, Ritchie Gonzales and Joshua Lozier tied for eighth at 165.
The Lady Tigers were third behind Powell and Worland with a score of 670.
Brinlee Hammond shot 215 to finish in fifth place and Clair Francom was sixth with a 217.
Lander heads off to the state tournament in Torrington with action beginning on Thursday.
