(Hudson, WY) – The Town of Hudson will hold a public meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Hudson Town Hall, 333 S. Main St.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the Hudson Wastewater Lagoon Project.
During the meeting, town officials will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements.
After the meeting, a preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at Town Hall during regular business hours.
Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Hudson plans to borrow $6.8 million from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments and is seeking 75 percent forgiveness.
Increased user fees will repay the loan.
The average rate increase is estimated to be $5 per month per user to repay the loan.
Loan terms will be 0.05 percent interest rate and 30 years.
