(Wyoming) – Wyoming Highway 14A remains closed to traffic as of 8:45 a.m. Tuesday after a dramatic crash occurred about 22 miles east of Lovell early this morning.
According to the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office, the driver, whose vehicle was left dangling over the edge of a cliff, escaped with only minor injuries as rescue crews were able to safely extricate them from that semi-truck.
Clean-up and vehicle recovery operations are expected to take the majority of the day. The Wyoming Department of Transportation is estimating between 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. before the highway can reopen. They remind motorists to never pass a closed roadway barricade.
