Fremont County Sheriff’s responded to a complaint on East Monroe at 3:22 a.m. Wednesday morning about a stolen 2006 Dodge pickup truck.
According to a Sheriff’s release, the owner of the vehicle started the truck and left it running because of the cold and snow overnight.
While the truck was running, an unknown person stole the vehicle and crashed it into a fence and a tree a few blocks from the owner’s house.
Sheriff’s say when they located the truck it was unoccupied. The incident remains under investigation.
