(Fremont County, WY) – The Wyoming Coaches Association has finalized the 2025 list of All-State volleyball honorees.
Just one Fremont County team went to the state tournament this year, the Dubois ladies. After a solid season for the Lady Rams however, they would go 0-2 at state, falling to both Hulett and Southeast. Dubois concluded the season going 19-10 overall and 7-1 in the 1A Northwest Conference.
Dubois was represented on the All-State list by senior Ava Jory. This is the second year in a row she’s claimed that honor. Jory announced earlier this fall she’ll continue her volleyball career at the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana.
The Lander ladies were led by senior captain Ava Gerlach, who also received the All-State nod. The multi-sport LVHS athlete now shifts her attention to the track and field season coming up next spring. Lander volleyball finished the season 10-24 overall.
Douglas’ Avynn Yost, Laramie’s Tessa Dodd, Little Snake River’s Kenzie Evans and Sundance’s Jaylin Mills each won the “Player of the Year” award for their respective classes.
