US 26 is closed Tuesday afternoon between Kinnear and Crowheart. Kinnear traffic is being directed to turn at the Highway 133/132 intersection, either toward Johnstown or Pavillion.
A Wyoming Department of Transportation official on scene speculated that it will likely be, “several hours” before reopening.
Authorities described that a fuel spill took place and clean-up is underway. No further information was provided at this time. County 10 will update when we receive more.
