A 28-year-old Vernal, Utah man was arrested in Lander for illegal possession of a firearm.
Spencer Rich, a convicted felon, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson September 5th.
His sentence included 100 months, or just over 8 years, of imprisonment, to be followed by 36 months of supervised release.
He was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $9,645.95, and a $100 special assessment.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives investigated this case.
