(Laramie, WY) – Both the University of Wyoming men’s and women’s basketball teams recently hosted games which included a halftime “teddy bear toss.” Generous fans simultaneously were encouraged to throw stuffed animals onto the playing surfacing. The blizzard of bears were collected, placed into dozens of trash bags and then hand delivered to children going through a tough time.
Members of the University of Wyoming basketball teams, and Pistol Pete himself, delivered the comfort items to children at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie this week.
