(Buffalo, NY) – Former Wyoming Cowboy and current Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was given the NFL’s MVP award Thursday night.
Following his acceptance speech and learning he was voted as football’s best player this season, the Buffalo Bills social media team handed Josh a video from some very special fans.
Allen has been active since arriving in Buffalo with the Oishei Children’s Hospital. In 2018, he launched a foundation which benefitted young patients at the facility. In 2021, when news spread online that Josh’s grandma, Patricia had died before a game Bills fans donated to the foundation in large numbers. Many of them donating $17… Josh’s jersey number. The donations totaled over $1 million, which helped the hospital create a new wing in Patricia Allen’s name. Details and ways to contribute to that fund can be found here.
