(Pasadena, CA) – University of Wyoming marching band, Western Thunder began the new year by participating in one of the most-watched parades on the globe. For the first time in band’s 111 year history, they were invited to the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.
The 230-member ensemble preformed several Wyoming-themed songs during the 5.5 mile route, including ‘Ragtime Cowboy Joe,’ ‘Come on Wyoming’ and covers of Toby Keith’s ‘Should’ve Been A Cowboy’ and Chancey Williams’ ‘The World Needs More Cowboys.’
