UPDATE: Shortly after the publication of this post, family members reached out to let County 10 know Julian had been found safe just an hour prior, and she is home with family.
(Fremont County, WY) – Fremont County woman Julian Clair StandingElk has been reported missing since Monday, March 16, according to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation Missing Persons page.
StandingElk is 52 years old, has brown eyes and red hair, is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs 200 pounds, according to the information provided on the missing person page.
She was last seen wearing a Lilo and Stitch jacket and sweatpants, and should have a brown purse with her. The missing person page also informs that StandingElk has a hearing impairment and communicates with sign language.
According to the MMIR 307 Facebook page, she is an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe of the Wind River Reservation. When she was last seen on March 16 in Riverton, she told family she was going to church but never arrived, and it is believed someone picked her up that evening. The MMIR 307 post also states that StandingElk walks with a noticeable limp due to a knee condition and is known to wear multiple rings and has long nails.
