(Riverton, WY) – The City of Riverton, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 5:00 pm on July 15th, 2026, in the Riverton City Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project: City of Riverton – Well Replacement Project.
At the meeting, the City of Riverton will present the scope of the Well Replacement project and will discuss the estimated cost of the project and the plan for funding the project. Based on current cost estimates, the City of Riverton plans to borrow $3,500,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. City of Riverton Capital Improvement Funds will repay the loan; there is no expected change to user rates. It is anticipated that there will be a 100% principal forgiveness for the loan.
