The National Weather Service office in Riverton is staying busy despite the government shutdown. NWS employees are working through the shutdown to help bring Wyoming residents the latest forecasts and information.
And, the latest forecast says there’s another good chance at some snowfall.
Riverton and Dubois have about a 40% chance of snowfall Wednesday evening, primarily after 4:00 p.m. Lander has a 30% chance at evening snowfall. Temperatures will dip into the single digits tonight in Riverton, and hover in the mid-teens in Dubois.
Another round of possible snow is projected this weekend. Temperatures will struggle to reach the freezing mark in all County 10 areas, and breezy conditions are expected in the high country Thursday.
