Western Heritage Lutheran Academy (WHLA) is excited to begin another year of Christ-centered, creation-based education — and we’re still accepting 6th–12th grade students for the 2025-26 school year!
At WHLA, we combine a classical curriculum with a warm, family-like atmosphere. Our approach encourages students to take ownership of their learning through critical thinking, discussion, and hands-on tools that make lessons come alive. Small class sizes mean every student gets the individual attention they deserve, both academically and spiritually.
This year’s dedicated teaching team includes:
Brandi Maxson, Head Teacher, returning for her second year at WHLA. She will teach across both middle school and high school, bringing energy, passion, and a commitment to student success.
Sheryll Taylor, our newest teacher and a Fremont County native. Sheryll will also teach middle and high school classes, and her roots in our community make her a welcome addition to the WHLA family.
And a dedicated Math Teacher, who will focus exclusively on helping students build strong skills and confidence in mathematics.
At WHLA, students are challenged academically while being nurtured in their faith. We value character development as highly as academic achievement, preparing young men and women to think clearly, act wisely, and live faithfully.
